COVID-19 Protocols Update
On Monday, December 27, 2021 the CDC provided an update on recommended isolation and quarantine period for the general population. At this time these guidelines have not been accepted by the State of New Hampshire. Please see the statement below provide by New Hampshire’s DHHS.
“State public health officials have reviewed the press statement issued by the CDC regarding isolation and quarantine and look forward to reviewing the CDC’s complete guidance once published. Once official guidance is available, the State will be able to determine how best to implement these changes in New Hampshire for the general public and in settings such as healthcare, residential facilities and schools. At this time, residents should continue to follow NH's current isolation guidance and quarantine guidance. Changes to the State’s guidance will be based on the CDC’s full recommendations, and will be updated on https://www.covid19.nh.gov/
The Dover School District will continue to follow the Protocols Applied to Pandemic Education (PAPE) and the information on the student screener. Both documents include a ten-day quarantine and have been attached to this email. Please be sure to have your student screen each day before school. We appreciate your help with trying to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
End of Quarter II/Semester I
Quarter II ends on Friday, January 21. The schedule for summative assessments can be found below. Summative assessments may include a test, project, presentation, paper, or other form of measuring student competency. The schedule indicates the day a summative is due, presented, or administered. We no longer run a modified “exam” schedule in January and June. Students will be in school for a full day.
- Tuesday, January 18- Blocks 1 and 3 (Green)
- Wednesday, January 19- Blocks 1 and 3 (White)
- Thursday, January 20- Blocks 2 and 4 (Green)
- Friday, January 21- Blocks 2 and 4 (White)
Semester II begins on Monday, January 24. The add/drop period for Semester II ends at 2:30 pm on Monday, January 31.

Dover Regional Career and Technical Center has opened the application portal for SY 2022-2023. Students should apply by February 28th for priority consideration.

The yearbook staff is creating a page in the yearbook which will include messages from senior students to their best friend(s). Use the link below to submit your message and a photo. Virtual Learning Day Schedule for Inclement Weather
Attached is the information concerning Virtual Days procedures as they apply to the District as a whole. We will follow the schedule below. The first 20 minutes of each block will be live and the remaining 60 minutes will be asynchronous. Flex is asynchronous as well with everyone eating lunch at the same time. Students should bring their laptops home when the forecast is not good.
