Are you interested in learning how to weld? Learn the basics of shielded metal arc, oxyacetylene welding and ame cutting with blueprint reading, mathematics and operation of metal fabrication machinery are covered extensively. You will receive instruction and hands-on practice in the welding of “T” joints, butt joints, lap joints, corner joints, and edge joints in the at, vertical, horizontal and over-head positions through a variety of welding processes. You will also learn the safe operation of metal working equipment used to shear, bend, roll, cut and drill various metals. Emphasis is also placed on shop safety and the development of good work habits such as: punctuality, dependability and responsible behavior.
